About brides rides

Brides Rides was born in January 2010 when my sister asked me to source a unique car for her wedding day. Being the mechanic in the family, it was expected I knew someone with a suitable bridal car. Fortunately for her, friends lent me their most prized possessions, a 1971 Chrysler VG Valiant and a 1966 Ford Mustang. They even offered their services for the day as drivers.

The cars attracted a great deal of attention and it proved to be a rewarding experience for both the bride and groom and the car owners.

Brides Rides provides an online community for those with a passion for restored cars, hot rods, street machines and retro/classic rides no matter what make or model.

There are two distinct motivations for Brides Rides; to provide an online car club and a channel for offering “hot rides” for the bridal market.

A third avenue for Brides Rides is to provide car enthusiasts with a meeting point for information on swap meets, drag and cruise events as well as car and parts trading. With the Brides Rides member area coming soon the website will be a portal for all of the registered Brides Rides members to discuss ideas and swap opinions and knowledge.
